SKECHERS, USA sought Daifuku's help to unify the inventory management and distribution of nearly 70,000 SKUs from five smaller locations into a new 1.82 million square-foot distribution center. The new center needed to resolve issues dealing with manual handling, multiple touches, product flow and storage, and carton sequencing.

When Gildan, the leading activewear brand in the screenprint market in the U.S. and Canada, experienced tremendous growth and needed their material handling system to more efficiently support their expansion goals, Daifuku listened carefully. Daifuku collaborated with Gildan to help them realize their productivity improvement goals, incorporating both complex software controls and state-of-the art conveyor technology.
